About us

We have been dealing and selling trading card games since 1999.

In the early days there was YuGiOh!, Magic and Pokemon, but we also sold TCGs that were not quite so spectacular, but were certainly an enrichment for the players.

These included, above all, all the ‘Lord of the Rings’ TCG series, which were produced and marketed in German by Universal-Cards in Germany at the time. It was a big hit, but then came to an end.

I would also like to mention the big TCG of ‘World of Warcraft’. This TCG with its loot cards for the online game had found many fans and to this day there is a lot of money for these loot cards with their codes, such as the crystal tiger, which is still very popular.

Unfortunately, this series also had to be discontinued, partly due to the fact that too many distributors were changed and the last company to do so was Cryptozoic Entertainment.

This seems to be a fundamental problem for the survival of trading card games. The better and more committed the distributor, the greater the chance that the game will ‘survive’.

We endeavour to ‘supply’ the community of players with fair prices and also make it easier for beginners to play. Our current distributor is the company Blackfire, which takes its tasks very seriously and supports events.

With this in mind, we will endeavour to remain up-to-date, innovative and convincing for the next 20 years.

Andreas Scheffer

In April 2024, I took over Superelf-Cards from Andreas after he took his well-deserved retirement after all these years. My aim is to look after his customers as well as they have been used to in all these years. With fair prices, friendly customer contact and, above all, to continue to offer a sales area for TCGs that do not belong to the typical big brands.

In order to deepen Andreas' involvement in the gaming communities and also to be able to offer a gaming space, we now also have a location where I would like to organise various events. So far, I have organised many events of various sizes as part of my community work, especially for the Final Fantasy TCG. From small local tournaments to Crystal Cups with over 100 participants. I'm now looking forward to being able to incorporate this experience into my own shop so that I can offer lots of creative and great events!
